Sisters’ coffee morning is as an opportunity for members of the community to come together in a safe and comfortable space and share their experiences. As a place of worship, the mosque is a cornerstone of the Islamic faith and a place to gather and celebrate the values of the religion. This provides an opportunity for women to share their stories and learn from each other, while strengthening the sense of community within the mosque. The event will also be an opportunity to discuss the challenges and issues that women face in their everyday lives and how to best address them in the Islamic context. It will provide an opportunity for learning, networking and inspiration. We view this event as a chance to create an atmosphere of inclusivity and mutual understanding among all members of the community, regardless of their faith or background.
